Lowcountry Cloud & IT Services Donates to Victims of Hurricane Harvey

GOOSE CREEK, S.C.--Days after Hurricane Harvey slammed into the Texas coast, residents continue to deal with unprecedented flooding and damage from the massive storm.

To date, Harvey has also claimed the lives of at least 35 people.

As of Friday morning, more than 103,000 individuals and households had been approved for FEMA assistance worth more than $66.4 million.

All over the country individuals as well as, businesses, big and small, are donating to victims of Hurricane Harvey.

Lowcountry Cloud & IT Services is proud to be among them, donating nonperishable goods, trash bags and bottled water to victims of Hurricane Harvey.

“Our hearts go out to the victims of Hurricane Harvey. When Hurricane Hugo tore through the Lowcountry nearly 30 years ago and left significant behind damage, the nation was quick to respond and offer us assistance,” stated Tom Campbell, Lowcountry Cloud & IT Services. “It only seems right that we help return the favor. While our contribution may not seem like much, every little bit helps and goes a long way.”

The donated items will be given to a crew scheduled to head down to Texas in the next few days to distribute the collected items to storm victims in need.
