Lowcountry Cloud & IT Services is growing, and we are looking for an awesome Computer IT Technician to grow with us. We are located in Goose Creek and recently moved into a new office right off Highway 52. Our future is looking bright –and most importantly, we stay busy. We need someone to share in the load, so our owner can focus more on the behind the scenes work with the company (which includes bringing in more customers). Do you have what it takes to be a part of the team?
DUTIES
--Diagnose and Resolve Client Computer, Network, or Technical Issues
--Troubleshoot software, hardware, network issues & peripherals
--Re-installation of Operating System when Required
--Virus Removal
--Data Recovery
--Software Support
--PC configuration
REQUIREMENTS
--Must show initiative and be proactive
--Must be reliable. In the IT world, there is no such thing as “bank hours”. While your schedule will be consistent overall, know that emergencies can arise at any hour, and we need to know that we can DEPEND on you to help get the job done.
--Must be on time
--Must be willing to work weekends on occasion
--Must have own reliable transportation. Will be responsible for your own vehicle maintenance including gas
--A desire to learn. We don’t expect you to know everything, however, after several months we expect you to pick things up quickly.
--Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have the ability to climb ladders as needed.
--Must be professional at all times—especially when dealing with clients.
SKILLS
--2 years’ experience preferred
--Associates degree
--Must be comfortable with all aspects of computer setup, hardware and software installation
--Knowledgeable in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite Programs, and configuring email accounts with Outlook.
